This Amazing Timelapse Video Shows New Mexico Like You’ve Never Seen It Before

New Mexico is known for its dramatic cloudscapes and spectacular landscapes. This incredible time-lapse video manages to capture the stillness of the land in contrast to the continual changes of the sky.

Watch hours pass in the space of seconds in “Conditioned and Enchanted: A Time Lapse Journey Across New Mexico.” The video was created by Todd Shoemake, whose love of meteorology, storm chasing, and photography inspired him to film this movie.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

The spots featured include the Very Large Array, Shiprock, the Sandia Mountains, Valles Caldera, and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Thank you to Todd Shoemake for giving us a new perspective on the Land of Enchantment.
