New Mexico’s Spring River Zoo Is An Adorable Summer Destination For The Entire Family
If you are looking for a family-friendly outing that is educational, fun, and super adorable, the Spring River Zoo must be at the top of your list. Located in Roswell, New Mexico, this 34-acre park and zoo has something that will capture the attention of every family member.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

These areas include the Capitan Trail, Around the World, Mountain Habitats, Ranch Heritage Exhibit, and carousel and train rides.

For example, as you explore the Around the World area, you can get a close look at the fun-loving lemurs. Other animals in this area include a raven, wallabies, beavers, and more.

The train is a favorite attraction for children and adults alike.

There are approximately only 100 wooden-horse carousels left in the entire world, and this is one of them.
