Welcome to PistachioLand! This is one of Alamogordo's top attractions, and it's not hard to see why. From the World's Largest Nut, to farm tours and a quaint country store, there is so much to do, see, and especially taste.
The famous nut salesman, Tom McGinn, spent his life growing pistachios and his son dedicated this attraction to him. Now, while visiting this wacky roadside attraction, you can also visit the wildly popular McGinn's pistachio tree ranch. Beautiful pistachio trees go on for acres, as well as grapes for their wines.
Next to the hard-to-miss statue and farm is a quaint country store. In here, you'll find everything from chili-chocolate pistachio brittle to homemade pistachio milkshakes.
If you're not into pistachios, you'll also find 11 other flavors of homemade ice cream. Try them all in a freshly made waffle bowl or cone, and you'll be in heaven.
While there's tons to do at PistachioLand, their ice cream in itself is an attraction. Once your sweet tooth is satisfy, take a motorized farm tour, do a wine tasting, or browse the store for other pistachio related products.
PistachioLand is located at 7320 US Hwy 54-70, Alamogordo, NM.
