It doesn’t take long for any visitor to realize New Mexico is one exceptionally unique place. From oddball restaurants to peculiar places to spend the night, the Land of Enchantment has no shortage of captivatingly weird places. Let’s take a look at just a few that New Mexico has to show off:
This restaurant and bar looks like it’s been standing since the beginning of time, but we can assure you it is safe to enter and is home to some truly tasty steaks and drinks. You’ll want to make this into an evening outing, as the saloon and opera house hosts live entertainment.
Where else would you expect to find a fast food restaurant shaped like a flying saucer? You may not see any little green men flipping patties or munching on french fries, but the exterior and interior are certainly out of this world.

Looking forward to a night of especially restful sleep? If sleeping inside a cave sounds appealing to you, then you’ll want to book a night or two at Kokopelli’s Cave, a unique bed and breakfast in Farmington.
In a nutshell, this orchard and gift shop offers one shell of a good time. Not only will you find plenty of pistachio-centered foods to bring home but you’ll also have the opportunity to tour the orchard and take a picture with the world’s largest pistachio.

How disappointing would it be to stop by a town with a name like this and not find a single pastry shop? You don’t need to worry about that here! Pie Town is home to a handful of bakeries that offer spectacularly sweet pies, as well as an annual Pie Festival.

When it comes to New Mexican cuisine, there’s no doubt that green chile is king. This burger joint not only offers new takes on the classic green chile burger, but also has some exceptionally unique drinks and desserts that incorporate the spicy pepper.
While Tinkertown Museum is only open during the warmer months, it's definitely an oddball attraction you'll want to add to your line-up. What started as a personal collection has evolved into a 22-room museum filled to the brim with miniature figurines and intricately detailed scenes, many of which are brought to life as animatronics.
