7 Secluded Spots In New Mexico Where You Can Get Some Peace And Quiet
There is something about heading out into nature that helps humans chill out. Perhaps it’s the fresh air, watching the trees sway in the breeze, or just hearing and occasionally seeing critters go about their lives. Whatever it may be, spending just 20 to 30 minutes outside amongst the local flora and fauna can result in a significant drop in stress hormones. And with the way the year has been going, most of us can use all the stress relief we can get.
Finding an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat isn’t too difficult in New Mexico but here are some of our favorite places to unplug, unwind, and enjoy our state’s beauty.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
