Simply hop on the Sandia Peak Tramway, an incredible tram that will take you all the way to the top of Sandia Peak. During the wintertime, you'll have the added benefit of spotting some beautiful snow-capped mountain peaks. And just wait until you see the views of Albuquerque in the distance! Another unique wintertime activity is ice fishing. For some of the best ice fishing in New Mexico, we'd recommend going to Lake Maloya or Lake Alice. Both of these bodies of water can be found in Sugarite Canyon State Park.
