Bottomless Lakes State Park is New Mexico's oldest park, dating back to 1933. The park is surrounded by limestone bluffs, making for a unique setting.
This lagoon is one of nine "lakes", although they're not necessarily lakes.

The deep blue green water is mesmerizing. Although it's neat to think about a lake or lagoon being bottomless, these bodies of water actually range from 17 to 90 feet deep, and the plants and underwater ecosystems give the water a seemingly endless blue color.
Once you're done relaxing, you can explore all of the other lakes within Bottomless Lakes State Park.

Lea Lake is a 15-acre swimming hole with a deep green color. Scuba divers love this spot as you can dive up to 90 feet. This park also allows for camping from mid-May to Labor Day, so you can explore the park all day.
This hidden blue lagoon is so hidden, you'll probably have it all to yourself. Relaxing beside the bluest water is the perfect way to spend any day.
