Taos is another wonderful winter destination, where there’s wonderful skiing and snowboarding and some truly incredible mountain views (which are especially spectacular when covered in a layer of fresh snow). Just outside of the town of Jemez Springs is the stellar San Antonio hot springs, which is easily one of the most popular springs in the state. Nearby Santa Fe, you can find the famous Spence hot springs, and near Las Vegas, you can find the Montezuma Hot Springs. If you prefer a more official and/or resort-style experience, you can head to Jemez Springs itself, or Ojo Caliente, which is about 45 minutes from Santa Fe.
