There are few things I love to explore more than a great museum. I have so many childhood memories of exploring the aisles and marveling at the artifacts, dioramas – and of course, the massive dinosaur skeletons! But I have to admit, most of those were across the river in New York City. New Jersey’s museums aren’t as famous, but we do have some great ones – and one many people might not have heard of is the Morris Museum. This acclaimed museum in Morristown, NJ has the distinction of being accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, and it has a great combination of activities that will thrill kids and intrigue adults. That makes it a perfect destination for when the weather is getting a little rough – but us museum lovers certainly won’t object to it being an ideal day trip any time of year!
