This Unspoiled Beach Town In New Jersey Is Like A Dream Come True
I wouldn’t say any of New Jersey’s beaches are spoiled…all are perfect to me! However, some can get a little rowdy and sometimes it’s nice just to relax. One of our sleepiest towns lies adjacent to Stone Harbor (another incredible destination) and offers a nice escape from the booming boardwalks of places like Asbury Park & Point Pleasant.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

There are also public tennis courts, basketball courts, a skate park and large playgrounds to enjoy.

Check out that line! Other local favorites include The Princeton, a bar, grill and entertainment venue offering live music on weekends and Sundae Best Homemade Ice Cream.

The history center is a delightful place to learn all about Avalon. Its collection includes thousands of photographs and objects that tell the story of Avalon’s "residents, places, and events." Visit on the third Thursday of each month for Tea Time - tea, cookies and conversations about Avalon's past.

The resort offers endless amenities including a bistro, beach bar, beach yoga, balconies, pool and planned events including Bingo Nights and Bocce Ball Tournaments.
