This Unique Thrift Store In New Jersey Is Unlike Any Place You’ve Ever Been

If you love finding good deals and vintage treasures, New Jersey has got you covered. We have an abundance of antique shops, consignment shops and thrift stores, each one offering something special. Whether you’re looking for a Victorian-era dining set or a gently used designer bag from last season, you’ll find it in the Garden State. If what you seek is something a bit more edgy, I’ve found the perfect thrift shop for you.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

A fantastic new addition to Sussex County’s shopping scene, you can find ReCollectables at 194 Spring Street in downtown Newton. Current hours are: 10-7 from Monday-Thursday, 10-9 on Friday, 9-9 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday. There are lots of lovely businesses nearby, so this thrift shop is definitely worth a drive. You can make it a nice day trip from almost anywhere in New Jersey! Check out a live show at the Newton Theatre, visit the Newton Fire Museum (when renovations are complete), and grab lunch at 4Chicks Cafe. If you like waffles, you’ll love 4Chicks! If you’re in South Jersey, check out this kick-butt consignment store that also offers live music.
