When the weather gets warm, I know I always look forward to seeing nature in full bloom. Wildflower season doesn’t start in summer, but it’s the height of it in many places. But New Jersey is a dense, heavily urbanized state – so many people might think the only place to see wildflowers having full run of the place is in botanical gardens and other similar attractions. That’s not the case, and maybe the best wildflower park in New Jersey can be found only a short distance from one of New Jersey’s best cultural towns – Princeton! Greenway Meadows Park is a small urban oasis with beautiful pathways teeming with wildflowers, and it’s free to access and explore. This park isn’t all that well-known outside of locals, which means it might just be the most peaceful spot in all of New Jersey.
