Pictured is Route 46, running through the town. It occupies about three square miles of land at an elevation of over 800 feet. You'll find it located near the more bustling towns of Dover and Rockaway, which offer more shops and restaurants...Mine Hill is more about nature.

This park straddles the border of Mine Hill, Dover, and Randolph. The 380-acre county park offers beautiful wooded trails, waterfalls, a lovely brook, boating on a 6-acre pond, ball fields and recreational facilities, and more! It's a great place to spend the day exploring.

With some of the richest sources of iron ore in the country, the Dickerson Mine supplied much of the iron ore used during the American Revolutionary War.
