This New Jersey Resort In The Middle Of Nowhere Will Make You Forget All Of Your Worries
Need a getaway? There’s one beautiful bed and breakfast tucked away in the Skylands that’s a delight any time of year. Whether you want to enjoy spring wildflowers, a hot summer day by the pool, gorgeous fall foliage, or the serenity of a snowy winter weekend, the Wooden Duck Inn is calling your name.
The Wooden Duck Inn is nestled in the heart of a 10-acre estate in Newton, New Jersey, near High Point State Park and the Delaware Water Gap.
The main building is the Estate House, with seven roomy suites. The Carriage House, right across the courtyard, contains three rooms, including an accessible room for disabled visitors.
Whether you stay in the Carriage House or the Estate House, you'll have access to the den and living room. The living room has a gas fireplace, comfortable couches, and a breathtaking view from a big bay window.
In the Estate House, each room comes with a private bath and fireplace, plus more space to unwind or to work. The largest rooms offer two-person soaking tubs.
