Meet Legendary Aviators And Enjoy A Classic Plane Flyover At New Jersey's Naval Air Station Wildwood

It is Naval Air Station Wildwood's biggest annual fundraiser!

How? Talented actors from the American Historical Theatre will perform in costume and recount their adventures. Ms. Earhart was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross as the first aviatrix to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She also actively worked to support female pilots and backed the Equal Rights Amendment. She will be discussing her travels on September 5.

Mr. Lindbergh will share his experiences flying across the Atlantic Ocean through a special performance of The Spirit of Lindbergh, based on his 1927 flight. Visitors will watch him plan his journey, navigate in the cockpit, and arrive in Paris. There will also be a Q & A and information about his life and his plane. See Lindbergh on the 6th. Both performances last approximately 1 hour.

Weather permitting, they will perform at least one formation flight around the Jersey Cape and land. The association will be showcasing a variety of planes. A meet and greet is planned.

Expect exhibitors, vendors, live music, and food and drink on both days.

It's a truly magical place for children and aviation lovers of all ages. You'll find propeller aircraft, jet aircraft, helicopters, engines, and exhibits with rare artifacts. There's a room filled with 1940s memorabilia and an authentic air traffic control tower!
