Published in 1985, The Polar Express (written and illustrated by Chris Van Allsburg) has become a Christmas classic. The beloved book was adapted into an Oscar-nominated animated film in 2004, passing the story down another generation. Following the film’s success, Polar Express-themed trains began to pop up. New Jersey is home to one such train that’s sure to enchant you.

nce on board, your car hosts will work their way through the coach and punch your golden ticket before hot chocolate and a delicious cookie are served by dancing chefs.

Passengers then read along with the book, reliving the tale.
