The Chapel In New Jersey That’s Located In The Most Unforgettable Setting

Having been settled centuries ago, New Jersey is home to hundreds of stunning churches that highlight local architecture throughout the years. These beautiful buildings have all been crafted with love and care, but one chapel, in particular, stands out for its uniqueness.

Princeton University Chapel is located on the campus of Princeton University.

Completed in 1928, it was built in the Collegiate Gothic style.

The chapel was even voted one of the most beautiful university chapels in the world, coming in at number fifteen.

As gorgeous as the facade is, the interior is truly breathtaking.

The stained glass windows are absolutely magical.

In total, the interfaith chapel features over 10,000 square feet of stained glass.

Though the chapel dates back less than a century, it has a rich history. The pulpit comes from France and was likely built in the mid-1500s.

In the heart of Princeton's park-like campus, the chapel is surrounded by equally impressive historic buildings dating back to 1756.

Princeton's Nassau Hall served as the U.S. Capitol building between July and October, 1783.
