Grounds For Sculpture Is New Jersey's Narnia

Grounds For Sculpture is a 42-acre sculpture park with 6 indoor galleries, a museum shop, two cafes and a fine dining destination, Rat's Restaurant.

First opened to the public in 1992, I can't imagine life without it. It's a winter wonderland.

Straight out of a dream, this whimsical destination is actually impressive in all seasons.

The spectacular sculptures are surrounded by stunning natural beauty - just check out this fall foliage on the pond.

Since 2000, these gorgeous grounds have operated as a non-profit, preserving over 250 contemporary sculptures for the public to enjoy.

A great place to picnic, stroll, snap photos and relax, you'll most certainly feel as if you've stepped into a Narnia-esque fantasy. It has been called an impressionist paradise and one of the finest sculpture gardens in the world.

You'll be overcome by a sense of wonder as you explore this strange, striking land.

Could this be it? An actual portal to another realm! Damascus Gate was crafted in 2002 by the very talented Walter Dusenbery.

I can't get over how beautiful this place is. One visit is never enough.

In addition to the sculptures, you'll find fields, forests, gorgeous gardens and tunnels of trees.

If you're looking to indulge, head to Rat's Restaurant. Serving up mouthwatering French cuisine, the interior was modeled after a Claude Monet painting.

GFS is also known for its fantastic events. Today (2/18), enjoy the Beauty of Winter Tour or pop-up nightclub with DJ and drink specials.

This is a place that everyone should see for themselves, whether with a friend, family or on a romantic date – it’s impossible not to be in awe of its beauty.
