New Jersey’s Newest Diner Offers Massive Portions And A Southern Flair
New Jersey is the diner capital of the world, with more diners than there are towns, and we’re always open to new additions. Recently, a chain of diners from down south expanded to the Garden State. So far, there’s just one…but it has rave reviews. See why you’ll love it.
Metro Diner is a Florida-based chain that got its start in 1938. Today, you can find 70 restaurants in 14 different states. As of this spring, one of those locations is New Jersey.
Of course, their mouthwatering menu is loaded with favorites from all over the US. You'll find burgers, chicken parmesan, Greek salad, grilled cheese, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and more.
Then, there are creative picks like the Monte Cristo - a fried sourdough sandwich stuffed with turkey, ham, cheddar and American cheese, topped with powdered sugar, and served with raspberry preserves.
