New Jersey’s Very Own Morristown National Historical Park Is Celebrating 90 Amazing Years In 2023

New Jersey was one of the country’s most important spots during the Revolutionary War, as George Washington spent a significant amount of time here and the Continental Army lived and trained in the state. Four of the most significant sites in the state’s Revolutionary War history can all be found in the same historical park in New Jersey – Morristown National Historical Park. There, you’ll find carefully preserved buildings, museum exhibits, and beautiful scenic views. It’s been a key part of New Jersey’s cultural heritage for a long time – almost 90 years, in fact! That’s why, starting on March 2nd, the park is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a bang. It’ll be a whole year of festivities and events, and you can be there right at the start.

It was March 2nd, 1933 when President Herbert Hoover signed the official proclamation creating Morristown National Historical Park - and it's still going strong today!

The park is just opening for its 90th season, and to celebrate the anniversary, there will be a big event in the museum's auditorium.
