Manasquan Reservoir is a massive source of water for Monmouth County in New Jersey. The reservoir is also a public park and an ideal location to see stunning scenes of the sunrise.

If you’re a morning person, you won’t have a problem getting up bright and early to check out the sunrise from vantage points throughout the reservoir. If you struggle waking up in the morning, keep your eye on the prize because these breathtaking views are worth waking up early for!

After you watch the sunrise, plan to spend some more time at the reservoir by taking a hike, going on a kayak, or having a picnic.

In the summer months, the reservoir opens at 6 a.m. and during the winter months, the reservoir opens an hour later.
