One of the best sculpture parks in the United States is right here in New Jersey. It’s a perfect spring, summer, or fall day trip. In addition to the artwork, you’ll find other fantastic features, including an enchanting tunnel of trees – check it out!
One of my favorite spots at the sculpture park is Monet's Bridge. A supremely peaceful place, you can find it by Rat's Restaurant, located on the 42-acre property.
And do you recognize this scene? It's straight from a picturesque painting. Hidden away near the Lake Side, it is a real-life replica of Garden at Sainte-Adresse, on display at The Met.
You'll find it between the Fairgrounds Gardens and Seward Johnson Center For The Arts. The shady canopy offers a refreshing break from the heat on warm summer days.
And there's so much more to explore here! Get lost in the Forest of the Subconscious and find yourself...or at least some beautiful photo opportunities!
Keep an eye out for a bamboo grove. It has a jungle scene and some mysterious figures hidden inside!

And if all that isn't enough reason to visit, you'll find peacocks roaming the grounds! There is even (or at least there was) a beautiful albino peacock.
Grounds For Sculpture often offers special events like “Slow Art Day.” Free with admission, participants can enjoy an hour-long tour that focuses on a limited number of works, allowing time for discussion and reflection. This is a great way to really appreciate the art! Visit Grounds For Sculpture at 80 Sculptors Way, Hamilton. Hours are Tuesday – Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
