This Hike Will Lead You To One Of The Most Enchanting Spots In New Jersey
There are so many gorgeous hikes in the Garden State, from meandering through the Pine Barrens to lovely lakeside trails, but my favorite hikes offer spectacular panoramic views. Hiking to the top of Mt. Tammany, along the Delaware River, will drop your jaw.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

There are several trails on Mount Tammany, but one of the most popular is a steep 3.5-mile round-trip trek to the top.

You'll follow the Red Dot Trail up and Blue Trail down.

When you reach the top, you will be afforded with amazing views of the Delaware River and Mt. Minsi in Pennsylvania.

Along the trail, hikers will enjoy the picturesque Dunnfield Creek.

The creek offers eye-catching cascades which make for fantastic photo opportunities.
A wonderful hike in the spring, summer and fall, www.njhiking.com offers a delightful preview of what you’ll see on your journey in the walk through video below:
