Hemlock Falls Trail In New Jersey Will Lead You Straight To A Beautiful Waterfall
Looking for an outdoor adventure? Well, we have the perfect activity: A semi-challenging hike that takes you past a fairy forest right to a memorable waterfall.
Located near Milburn, New Jersey in the South Mountain Reservation, this hike to Hemlock Falls is sure to alternately delight and exhaust you (in a good way!).

We love that it's somewhat challenging, but has a lot of interesting features.

It's so quiet and peaceful out here in the woods!

Keep an eye out for turtles, birds, and fish!

For about a half mile through the woods, you can observe little fairy homes built here. The tiny structures are sure to enchant children.

Even if you aren't a child, you'll want to take your time admiring it all.

That means you do get some views along the way -- as well as a workout.

Just keep an eye on the weather - if it's been dry lately, Hemlock Falls won't look quite as majestic as usual.

The trail is dog-friendly – just keep them on a leash. And keep in mind, the hike is best done from March through October.
