There’s a Winery On This Beautiful Farm In New Jersey And You Have To Visit
In 1981, only 7 wineries existed in New Jersey. At the time, our state had a law which limited winery licenses to 1 per 1 million residents. It was a dark time. (Not really.) That law was overturned and just a few years later, the number of wineries in New Jersey doubled. Now, we have dozens of incredible wineries in the Garden State. One of the newest is Summit City Winery.

Wine & Live Jazz is offered on the first and third Fridays of each month with no cover and complimentary snacks. Wine & Country Music is offered on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month and costs $10 which includes wine pairings and light refreshments.
Wine & Oldies, on the first and third Saturdays of each month and the second and fourth Friday also costs $10 and includes wine pairings and snacks. There are also special events like karaoke night (next event on February 9th) with no cover and free wine tastings for participants, PLUS, a prize for the top performer.

Bring the kids for pony rides or special pony parties which include pony and tractor/wagon rides plus pony painting and a private party room.
Their wine and music events are wonderful ways to spend a weekend evening and I’d definitely recommend a visit. You’ll find Summit Farms & Winery at: 500 University Boulevard in Glassboro. For more New Jersey wineries, check out this wonderful Garden State wine trail.
