This New Jersey Restaurant Has One Of The Most Over-The-Top Hot Dogs In America

New Jersey is the unofficial hot dog capital of America. We’ve got so many iconic hot dog joints, from Rutt’s Hut to Jimmy Buff’s and Windmill Hot Dogs, and we’re home to some very original hot dog creations. The Garden State is famous for our ripper (a deep fried dog) and the Italian hot dog, but they’re not all we’re known for. This Jersey Shore favorite just garnered national attention for one of its out-of-this-world hot dogs.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

You can find Maui’s Dog House at 806 New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood. What do you think is the most extravagant, over-the-top hot dog in New Jersey? For more of the best hot dogs in New Jersey, check out this list: These 12 New Jersey Hot Dog Joints Will Keep You Coming Back For More.
