The Massive Bloody Marys At Cloverleaf Tavern In New Jersey Are True Works Of Art
Whether you prefer a morning beverage after a long night on the town or you enjoy a lunchtime libation, sometimes nothing tops a big, beautiful Bloody Mary. And if you happen to be dining at the Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell, sometimes that Mary can even replace (or at least enhance) your meal. The drinks here are delicious, and they’re definitely not small.
The Cloverleaf Tavern was established in 1933 as a local bar.
In 1976, Richard Dorchak (the original owner's son) turned it into a restaurant. It's now run by third-generation Ryan Dorchak.
Today, The Cloverleaf Tavern has the capacity to serve 200 guests as well as a private party room.
And this long-standing family-run eatery is almost always packed with hungry patrons.
On a warm weekend day, there's nothing better than enjoying a hearty brunch on the outdoor patio.
And if you're the type to choose one good quality Bloody Mary over a million mimosas, this is the place for you.
The Bloody Mary here is a true work of art, often coming garnished with your own mini-meal.
Not only is the Mary perfectly seasons with just the right amount of a kick, but it's topped with a bacon slider.
The team here loves to get creative with the Bloody Mary menu, especially during Sunday brunch. Just ask for the weekly special.
This is a BDB, a Breakfast Dinner Booze Mary. This premium Tito’s Bloody is garnished with waffle battered wings, two Belgium waffles, celery, bacon, and hot pepper stuffed olives along with a maple salt & pepper rim and a drizzle of spicy buffalo maple syrup. Yum!
This place is no stranger to creative cuisine.
They offer a Burger of the Week every single week, and they're always amazing.
No matter how much of your Bloody Mary is edible, you'll definitely want to save room for a meal.
The burgers here are out of this world, and that's just the beginning. From flatbreads and quesadillas to salads and heartier entrees, you'll find a little bit of everything at the Cloverleaf.
The Cloverleaf Tavern is open daily at 11 a.m. except for Sundays, when they open at 10 a.m. for brunch.
They're also open late, but the Bloody Mary tends to taste the best during daylight hours.
