Hey, It’s Christmas In New Jersey. Here’s What Santa Brought You!
Merry Christmas! We may not have gotten everything we asked for on our
New Jersey Christmas wish list yesterday, but we still have plenty of gifts to enjoy. We’re so lucky to live in New Jersey and can be grateful for the following things, and more, this Christmas.
1. The perfect landscape.
We have all types of terrain, suitable for a wide variety of activities. You can both ski and surf in our state, and never need to travel far to do either!
2. The perfect location.
We're sandwiched between two of the greatest cities in the country, and just a short drive to amazing destinations like Boston and Washington DC.
3. The perfect climate.
We have four spectacular seasons and are low on natural disasters like tornadoes and earthquakes.
4. More diners per capita than any other state.
Thank you, New Jersey. Where else can you get cheese fries at 2 a.m.?
5. Gas station attendants.
What a thoughtful gift, especially when the weather outside is frightful.
6. Amazing museums.
We're packed with art, history, science, and culture! The New Jersey State Museum, Liberty Science Center and Zimmerli Museum are some of the most well-known, but they're just the start!
7. Fresh fruits and veggies!
The Garden State is a major producer of blueberries, cranberries, peaches, bell peppers, spinach, and more.
8. Endless dining opportunities.
From burger joints to high end restaurants, we've got it all.
9. Amazing schools.
Not only are we home to Princeton University, many of our public elementary and high schools are among the top performing in the nation.
10. Charming small towns.
Like Clinton, Cape May, Lambertville, Haddonfield, Glen Rock, and more!
11. 130 miles of gorgeous coastline.
From rocky beaches to sandy shores, every inch of our state that touches the ocean is beautiful.
12. Stunning state parks.
We have dozens of beautiful state parks throughout the state, perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding, bird watching, cross-county skiing, snowshoeing and so much more!
What other wonderful gifts are we given, just by living in the state? Let me know in the comments, and have a happy holiday!
