This Massive Candy Store In New Jersey Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again

I’ve featured a few New Jersey candy shops over the years, but none are quite like this. This sugary utopia makes the expression “a kid in a candy store” a reality for adults. Sure, children will like this place, but you’re going to fall in love. If you have a sweet tooth, you’re going to want to read on. Even if you’re not a candy lover, this shop has something for everyone.
A new addition to the New Jersey dining/sweets scene, it opened in 2018 inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
It's also a wonderful place to spend your winnings. Family friendly, this sweet shop has something for everyone.

There's a 1,500-square foot confectionery with a floor-to-ceiling candy wall. You'll find more than 500 types of candy including a selection of novelty and bulk candy like the world-famous Couture Pops.

Old-fashioned milkshakes are pretty tame, and terrific. The selection includes Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry along with creative concoctions like Make A Wish with birthday cake bits and sprinkles. But that's just the start. I f you want to kick things up a notch, go for the insane milkshakes.
Insane milkshakes are overflowing with your favorite treats! One example is the Caramel Sugar Daddy Cheesecake — vanilla ice cream with cheesecake pieces, caramel sauce, whipped cream, a slice of NY-style cheesecake, a piece of Sugar Daddy candy and a rainbow lollipop in a chocolate covered mug with crushed graham crackers. Yum!
They've also got coffee (chocolate cappuccinos, hazelnut lattes) and some incredible hot chocolate varieties, available "hot" or "frosty."The s'mores hot chocolate (pictured) is heavenly.

If you're not feeling like a kid in a candy store yet, you will soon. There are 60-oz. goblets filled with sugar and booze. The Raspberry Watermelon Mojito is topped with watermelon candy and fresh mint leaves! The Fuzzy Peach Penguin Mango (designed and tested by musical artist Pitbull) comes complete with Voli Vodka, fresh peach and mango puree, sparkling citrus soda, gummy fruit slices, and gummy peach penguins.
60 ounces a bit too much? Try smaller drinks like the Cotton Candy Cosmopolitan, or Chocolate Martinis! Go for the chocolate mint, chocolate mudslide, or chocolate peanut butter cup. Good news! Everything I've mentioned also comes in an alcohol-free version.

Try the Turtle Cheesecake (NY-style cheesecake with an Oreo cookie bottom and layers of chocolate chips, marshmallow, pecans, and caramel sauce, topped with whipped cream, raspberry reduction, and a marble chocolate "cigarette.") or Chocolate Cake (layers of Devil's Food Cake, dark and milk chocolate mousse, topped with bittersweet chocolate fudge sauce and chocolate pearls).
There are gourmet ice cream sandwiches and old-fashioned sundaes — for two. The Cookie Jar (cookies + cream and cookie dough ice cream, topped with warm fudge, caramel sauce, whipped cream, crushed Oreo and chocolate chip cookies) and Chocolate Blackout (dark chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, chocolate gelato, chocolate brownie chunks, crunchy chocolate candy, hot fudge, whipped cream, and dark chocolate shavings) are right up my alley.

It comes with 24 scoops of ice cream, hot fudge, caramel, strawberry sauce, sliced bananas, toasted marshmallows, Reese's Pieces, chocolate chip cookies, crushed waffle cones, gummi bears, white chocolate strawberry shavings, toasted walnuts, whipped cream, giant lollipops, and sparklers on top!
