There is no experience in the world quite like a traditional Irish pub. This hearty cuisine is a key part of the pub experience, and that’s definitely the case for the excellent Irish pub in Metuchen, NJ – Hailey’s Harp and Pub. Whenever I’m in Metuchen, it’s my favorite lunch spot – but it’s dinner when the place is at its liveliest. What really sets it apart from the average Irish pub is that the kitchen takes the authenticity of its food seriously. You’ll find the old standards for sure, and they’re excellent, but you’ll also find a few traditional Irish dishes that aren’t always easy to find this far away from the old sod.
