The little town offers an emerald lake, historic charm, and a quaint downtown with some wonderful local restaurants but it lacks the boardwalk amusements of towns like Point Pleasant Beach, Seaside Heights, and Ocean City.

While this article is focused on Spring Lake, many towns will be offering a limited number of beach passes. Most New Jersey passes will be under $100 for the season. If you’re looking to obtain one, you’ll need to keep an ear out and act fast. Be aware that many towns will be offering passes by mail and online this year. Even if the beach you’re looking to visit is not likely to sell out, you may still want to purchase a badge early – some towns offer discounts for season passes purchased before a certain date.
