Hundreds Of Santas Descend Upon Asbury Park Every Year During The Santa Run In New Jersey
Looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit and help out a charity at the same time? Don your Santa suit and head to Asbury Park for its annual Santa Run. You won’t want to miss this!
Lace up your running shoes, because it's the most RUNderful time of the year! The annual Ashbury Park Santa Run will take place this year on Saturday, December 7th, and it starts at The Stone Pony.
Pick up your Santa suit and bib at Road Runner Sports in Shrewsbury the day before the race, then show up at the starting line at 8:30 a.m. on race day to check-in.
The race kicks off with Santa on a Harley leading the way...
...and at the starting gun, hundreds of Santas will start running the 5k race.
You can't help but get into the holiday spirit as you run around the beautiful Asbury Park, surrounded by other Santas.
The Santa Run is a blast, but you'll get more than just a runner's high — you'll be filled with the spirit of Christmas because a portion of your race fee goes to the local charity Lunch Break. There's also a toy drive, which helps provide Christmas presents for kids who otherwise might not have anything under the tree this year.
Santa and his elves will be at the finish line to congratulate you on your race.
We can't think of a better way to give back to the community while enjoying a beautiful day in the park!
After the race, head to The Stone Pony for the after-party. You'll enjoy libations and live music from Brian Kirk & the Jirks.
Register now for the Asbury Park Santa Run; tickets are selling out fast. Visit the race’s
website for more info, and make sure to follow its Facebook page for the latest updates.
