Take a Charming Ride Through Wintry Woods With A Sleigh Ride At Charmingfare Farm In New Hampshire
Winter in New Hampshire doesn’t have to mean hunkering down inside. While there’s nothing wrong with some cozy time indoors with a good book and family or close friends, we can’t resist some outdoor time. Especially when it’s as beautiful as it is here! If you’d like to make the most of the season consider doing something truly unique by heading to these stables for a magical sleigh ride.
For one of the most magical winter experiences in New England head to southern New Hampshire for a visit to Charmingfare Farm in Candia.
The farm, which is a great place to visit year-round, comes to life in the winter with these special sleigh rides. And they can be enjoyed two different ways.
Those looking to simply take in the outdoors will want to book a space on the logging sled. This one seats about 16 people and allows for larger groups to enjoy the ride. If you're a smaller group you can expect to share the experience with others, but right now the farm is taking precautions to make sure everyone is safe. There will be two sections on the sled, allowing for enough distance between parties.
For special, smaller occasions you'll want to check out the vis-a-vis sleigh ride which accommodates up to four people. This is great for a couple or a family.
Both rides travel through the forest and open fields allowing for some seriously special views. But be sure to bundle up, as things can get chilly this time of year!
But if the weather is really cold you can choose to book the warm-up room for before or after the ride. Your group will be able to enjoy a stone hearth fire and tables for an hour and a half, which adds to the merriment of the visit. Bring whatever you'd like to eat and drink and you have yourself the best winter party!
Charmingfare Farm is a great destination for some cozy fun. Rides can be booked from December through March, but require just the right weather. You can learn more about it by visiting their website. Or you can check them out on Facebook. If you have questions they can be reached on 603-483-5623.
