Winter is in full swing, and so is New Hampshire’s ski season – but if you aren’t a skier, or just want a change of pace, don’t despair. There are plenty of other great activities to be found at Granite State ski slopes, including this fabulous adventure.
Loon Mountain is gorgeous anytime of year, but it really peaks in the winter under a light blanket of snow.
If you're a skiier, of course, you probably know that Loon is a great place for downhill adventures. But there's plenty to offer off the slopes as well. Just head to the mountain's Adventure Center to find the perfect fit, from snowboarding to cross-country skiing.
Our favorite, though, is winter ziplining. You'll soar 700 feet across the Pemigewassett River, enjoying magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
Ziplining is $29 per person for all ages, and reservations are recommended. To learn more, visit Loon’s website. To get a real sense of what you’re in for, check out the video below!
