Step Back In Time At This Whimsical Old Fashioned Soda Fountain In New Hampshire
One of our favorite things about New England is the charm that comes with a visit to the small cities and towns that dot the region. New Hampshire absolutely exudes this unique feeling and one of our favorite places to find it is in Portsmouth. The quaint Bridge District with its shops and restaurants makes life feel just a little bit simpler. For one of the most unique experiences in this neighborhood, check out Fezziwig’s Food & Fountain.
Fezziwig's Food & Fountain is part of the Pickwick's Mercantile family is shops in New Hampshire.
They've got the most decadent sundaes in the area, along with milkshakes that will pump more sugar into your blood than you've had collectively in months!
And, each milkshake is named after a member of the Pickwick family.
Try the Minerva Milkshake, a chocolate concoction with a buttercream rim, crushed Oreo and brownie, topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
And, of course, no soda fountain is complete without the actual fountain. Here you can find the perfect craft beer or fine wine to go along with your meal.
Fizziwig's is great for a special occasion, but don't feel like you need to wait. Stop in on a weekday afternoon and feel like the aristocrat you really are!
Fezziwig’s Food & Fountain is located at 112 State St., Pickwick’s Mercantile, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. You can learn more about them, as well as the entire Pickwick’s family of shops on their website or check them out on Facebook. You can give them a call on (603) 501-0023.
We love the quaint, but there’s also nothing like a huge meal to satisfy some serious hunger. When you’re searching for the biggest, head to Ringde and visit the (literal!) Sandwich Master!
