Summers in New Hampshire can be hot. One way to beat the heat is with air conditioning, but who wants to be stuck inside away from the sunshine? Why not head to the water instead? The Granite State is graced with plenty of natural bodies of water for beating the heat, including its largest, Lake Winnipesaukee. Out of all of the Lakes Region communities in NH, the small city of Laconia has it going on for summer fun.
