Train Lovers Will Adore This Quaint New Hampshire Museum

We all have train lovers in our lives — there’s something just so enchanting about the old-fashioned mode of transportation. But whether or not you consider yourself an aficionado, you’ll adore a visit to a quaint New Hampshire model train museum you may never have heard of. Unfortunately, your time to visit is limited — the museum will close permanently on May 31, 2018. Read on to learn why you should visit before then!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

You can find the museum and hobby shop at 15 Town Hall Rd, Intervale, NH 03845. It’s open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until May 31, when the museum will close. They’re planning to keep the outdoor train running through October, and the hobby shop open until December. Everything is on sale, so definitely don’t miss the chance to visit! Keep an eye on the museum’s website and Facebook page for more details.
