Drive Out To Tavern 27, A Farmhouse Restaurant In New Hampshire That's Worth The Scenic Trip

We’ve been making a lot of home cooked meals lately and while we’re loving that, we’re certainly looking forward to eating at a cozy delicious restaurant in the future. From those located on the coast to the ones hidden within the forest, we’re lucky that New Hampshire has so many great choices. And there’s something great about knowing we’re supporting a local business.

Tavern 27 in Laconia operates on a large 20-acre property that includes a golf course.

And, of course, the area is absolutely beautiful.

The restaurant itself is housed within a 200-year-old farmhouse. And the quaint touches shine through. You'll feel comforted here in the best way.

We especially love the piano bar which offers an area to enjoy yourself with an *actual* piano.

And there's plenty to drink. So when it's time to finally unwind, you'll have lots of options with which to do it.

Of course, it's the food that we're here for. And Tavern 27's is some of the best.

The tapas-focused menu is perfect for folks who'd like to try a few different things.

And each dish is prepared perfectly. Take this grilled Calabrian shrimp with pesto, Asiago toast and New Hampshire hot house tomatoes for instance. Looks great!

Or, for the best of all worlds check out any item on the menu that includes both beef *and* shrimp.

You can't go wrong with anything you order, but we recommend you get a variety of dishes to try. Tapas are made for sharing and trying new flavors, so go wild!

Tavern 27 is operating with different hours at the moment, but are typically open Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday. You can learn more by following them on Facebook.
