Take A Summer Stroll Through The Stunning Tarbin Gardens In New Hampshire
Warmer weather means more outdoor plans! We certainly have no shortage of ideas, but we’re loving the ones we’ve been receiving that offer more unique ways to enjoy the great nature that New Hampshire has to offer. If you’re looking for something simple, relaxing, and beautiful, consider heading to this wonderful garden right here at home.
For a beautiful escape right here in New Hampshire, head to Tarbin Gardens in Franklin.
The sprawling gardens cover 33-acres and have been delighting visitors since 2003. Its history, however, is far longer. It’s been owned by the same English family since 1973!
We love that you can enjoy the pleasure of being immersed in New Hampshire nature, while also being able to see things that you might otherwise need to travel for.
And mixed in amongst the plants and flowers, you’re also likely to meet one of their lovely animals! From Scottish Highland cattle to goats, you might just make some great new friends.
And while we love wandering through the gardens, we especially enjoy the English cream tea that’s available from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day they’re open.
After enjoying the nature along with tea and a sweet treat, head to the gift shop where you’ll find a wide variety of English gifts. This is a must-visit if you have any Anglophiles in your life!
Tarbin Gardens is typically open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. between May and September. You can learn more about visiting on their website. Or, follow them on Facebook. Tickets are $9, but discounts are offered for seniors, students and kids. They can be reached on 603-934-3518.

In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
