Ski Season Is Upon Us – Here’s Your Ultimate Guide To Opening Days In New Hampshire
It’s hard to believe that it’s already ski season – fall absolutely sped by this year! For all of the skiers and boarders out there, it’s one of the most exciting moments of the year – the countdown to your favorite mountain’s opening day. Several New Hampshire resorts are already open, and the rest will start operations in the next couple weeks. Here’s your guide to each mountain’s status. Please be sure to check before you go, as opening dates can change depending on conditions.

Loon Mountain has already opened a number of trails – check with them to confirm what's up and running.

Mount Sunapee opened November 22, so it's time to get out there!

Cannon Mountain will open Friday, November 24 – and this year, thanks to some new snowmaking equipment, they'll open with top to bottom skiing and riding.

Cranmore will open Friday, November 24, for skiing, tubing, and their Mountain Adventure.

Waterville is opening Friday, November 24, 2017 – perfect timing to work off that turkey dinner.

Gunstock is projecting an opening date of Friday, December 1st - and since it's their 80th season, it's sure to be celebratory.

Ragged Mountain's season will begin December 1.

Black Mountain is expected to open Saturday, December 2, and they already have some uphill sessions available.

Pats Peak is looking at an opening date of December 2, assuming conditions hold up.

McIntyre Ski Area will open with limited hours on Friday, December 15.

King Pine Ski Area is projected to open on Friday, December 15.

Wolfeboro's community owned ski area will open for the season on December 26, just in time for winter break.

Whaleback hasn't announced an opening date yet, but they're planning to start making snow around Thanksgiving. Keep an eye out for further details!
