New Hampshire has just 18 miles of coastline, and much of it is rocky and rugged. We’re not only okay with that, we love it! Here’s a rocky beach that might not be the best for sunbathing, but it’s definitely picturesque, and perfect for a day of recreation.

A visit to Rye Harbor State Park is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. This pretty park is small, but you'll find plenty to see and do here.

You'll definitely want to explore the rocky beach. Wear some sturdy shoes and go for a walk. You might find some interesting pebbles, shells, and driftwood.
