New Hampshire has tons of great hiking, but one short, family-friendly hike is among the most beautiful in all of the Granite State. Rattlesnake Mountain is a 1.7 mile out and back trail that is easy enough for the whole family to manage. Although the hike is short, this walk will lead you somewhere truly spectacular.
The Rattlesnake Mountain trail is accessible off Route 113, and is easy to hike throughout the fall. Peak foliage in the area generally occurs in the middle of October.
