Halloween is almost here and we can’t help but get into the spirit! The wind in the trees and the chill in the air all feel just a little bit spookier than it does any other time of year. And, if there’s any state in the country that knows how to celebrate this time of year it’s New Hampshire! If you want to make this year extra-special make your way to Jackson. Their annual fall tradition is one of the best.
Jackson, New Hampshire, located near the Maine border is one of the most picturesque place in the state. The White Mountain National Forest backdrop keeps it awash in color throughout the fall.
You can tour each of the 80 displays by grabbing a map of the town at any of the businesses taking part in the event throughout the Conway and Jackson Area.
And, time your visit for the end of the month to take part in the annual fall festivals put on by the neighboring towns of Intervale, Glen, Bartlett and Hart’s Location.
The Pumpkin People in Jackson begin popping up at the beginning of October and last through Halloween. You can learn more about it here. And to get a map in advance you can request one by calling the office at 603-383-9356 or sending an email to info@jacksonnh.com.
