The Granite State, named after Hampshire County in England, is home to a most fantastical farm. At the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill, you can play with goats, sheep, horses, cows, alpacas, bunnies, pigs, and an emu named Dundee. What’s more, after playing with the farm animals, you can explore the onsite hiking trail.

The farm is open from dawn to dusk 365 days a year. Admission to the farm grounds and hiking trail is always free. You can even request to feed the animals.
You won’t want to miss the adorable herd of alpacas, including Gary, Kio, Phoenix, Rocky, and Cadence.
Events at the farm include goat walking, the bunny tea party, wine tastings, movie nights, yoga, painting parties, summer camp, flower arranging, and so many more we can’t even begin to mention them all!
Be sure to say hello to Ester and the rest of the cows when you visit, no matter the season.
Be on the lookout for the family trail run event. Your leashed dog may accompany you on the trail.
Fresh produce is available at the farm stand for your shopping pleasure, or check out the gift shop for baked goodies and other treasures from local vendors.
You can even sign up to learn how to ice skate, for a nominal fee, a program hosted by local high school students - and you can borrow skates if needed. Sometimes there are evening bonfires.
