Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms. Oh, New Hampshire. If we were to count all the things we love about you we’d be here a very, very long time. But, all that time is worth it for the moments when we can give a little extra attention to our absolute favorites. Today we’re telling you about one of the most old-school eateries in the state. There’s a good chance you’ve grown up eating meals here, but if you haven’t be sure to make the trip!
The homiest, yummiest spot in New Hampshire for a good meal might just be Parker's Maple Barn new Mason.
Parker's is open until 2 p.m. and they specialize in breakfast and brunch. A can't miss item on the menu? Parker's Maple Barn special which comes with two eggs, home fries, ham hash, and their fluffy homemade pancakes.
For a more savory meal order the eggs Florentine which come with poached eggs (duh), spinach and a delicious Hollandaise sauce. Home fries on the side make this a gut-buster.
And that's because Parker's Maple Barn makes all of their maple syrup themselves. From March through April you can take a tour to see the process that the family has used for over than three decades.
Parker’s Maple Barn is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can learn all about them on their website or check them out on Facebook. More questions? Give them a call on 603-878-2308.
