This trip will take you from North Conway, to Gotham, over to Jackson, through Franconia Notch, and over the Kancamagus Highway.

Begin your road trip at Cathedral Ledge, where you can take in a breathtaking view of the mountains that you'll be traveling through.

If the day is hot - or even if it isn't - you won't want to miss Diana's Baths, a series of waterfalls that is just down the street from Cathedral Ledge.

After you're finished with Cathedral Ledge and Diana's Baths, head North to Jackson Falls. These beautiful falls are right along the roadside, giving you easy access.

Continue North to the Mount Washington Auto Road. This half-hour drive will take you to the highest peak in the North East, and you'll enjoy breathtaking views. Just remember to pack a jacket, because it's much cooler at the summit!

As you drive North before turning west on Route 2, look for moose, which are plentiful in this area. If you're really determined to see one, you can even take a moose tour.

This wetland park in the shadow of the White Mountains is often-overlooked but truly beautiful.

One of the most beloved state parks in New Hampshire, Franconia Notch is a must-see. Walking along the Flume and taking in the other natural wonders will be a highlight of your trip.

After exploring Franconia Notch, stop for lunch in charming Lincoln. As you drive through, enjoy the beautiful views.

From Lincoln, turn onto NH112, better known as the lovely Kancamagus Highway. Take your time on the drive, appreciating the views and exploring the many turnoffs that are full of natural wonder.

End your day of exploration with a dip in the Swift River at Lower Falls in Albany. The water is cool but clear and ultra-refreshing.
