The Homemade Food At This Middle Of Nowhere Eatery In New Hampshire Is Worth A Trip From Anywhere

The food options in New Hampshire seem to just get better and better. As word of the state’s dining scene spreads, more people come and more spots open up in the bigger towns and cities. We love that people want to visit New Hampshire, but we also love that the hidden little spots are still reserved just for us. This restaurant is a great example!

You know it's rural when one of the proclaimed benefits of stopping inside is "cell service." And that's exactly what we love about Grampy's Drive-In located in Pittsburg, New Hampshire.

We also love that the term "drive-in" in this case refers to the fact that it's great for ATV breaks.

What could be better than a long day on the trails, followed by some of the best homemade grub in the state?

We'll tell you! The only thing better is if you actually take your sled in the dead of winter!

Although, you'll want to make sure a summer visit happens to ensure you get a taste of Grampy's famous lobster grinders!

Because everything here is freshly made by hand, the flavors are bold and the portions are large. Especially when you order the ribs!

Their specials bring true meaning to the word. These comforting meals will make you feel as special as can be. We love the baked potato and chicken.

Or if you get lucky you might find the Golumpkis with salad and roll on special. The true Polish take on stuffed cabbage cannot be skipped!

They also bake up the freshest treats, including muffins, cookies, and cakes.

And you can't forget their homemade donuts!

If you manage to stop by on a chilly day be sure to get Grampy's signature hot chocolate which is topped with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar, real maple syrup, and the best part — a Milk chocolate spoon!

The menu here is intentional and delicious. You won't find anything like this in the cities!
