New Hampshire is full of natural beauty, but one place in The Granite State looks like it is straight out of middle earth. With mossy waterfalls and caves that lead to breathtaking views, King Ravine trail is a place that ever Lord of The Rings fan in New Hampshire must explore!
King Ravine Trail in Randolph is full of mossy, overgrown sites that look like they've come straight out of Middle Earth.
Caves along the way will have you swearing that you're in Lord of The Rings.
And magical details add to the feel.
Of course, the view over the White Mountains along the trail will have you swearing that you have conquered them all!
King Ravine Trail accessible from Lowe's Path Trailhead on Route 2. Follow Lowe's path for 1.8 miles before turning left onto King Ravine Trail.
King Ravine is a challenging hike, so unless you're a very fit an experienced hiker it's better to focus on exploring the area rather than reaching the summit.
There is so much beauty tucked that you'll have no problem getting in touch with your inner hobbit!
Just watch out for sudden storms sent to stop your progress.
If you are able to handle a tough hike, head to the summit of Mount Adams by hiking King Ravine trail to Air Line trail. The round trip is more than nine miles of steep hiking, so only attempt it if you are experienced.
