A Trail Full Of River Views By Mine Falls Park Will Lead You To A Waterfall Paradise In New Hampshire
Despite a few last minute May snow showers, we’re well on our way to the warmth of summer! Days are getting longer, the temperatures are climbing and the outdoor opportunities that we love about New Hampshire are all waiting for us. There are plenty of options, but we love the routes that include a lot of things to see. This one, leading along a river and towards a simple waterfall, is worth checking out.
Right in the center of Nashua you'll find the Nashua River. And, just nearby you'll find the oasis of Mine Falls Park. Only in a state like New Hampshire will you find a tranquil, peaceful getaway right within the city limits.
Mine Falls Park can be accessed using a few different entrances and is bordered by the Nashua River on the north and the Millpond and canal system to the south.
The 325-acre park is great for walks or just immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. While you might feel like you're in the city when you first begin, once you move along the trail system you'll find yourself amidst total quiet.
The trail is well-trafficked so you'll want to show up early or later in the day for a bit more solitude. But, even at its busiest there are plenty of ways to feel all alone in the nature.
You’ll find Mine Falls Park in the heart of Nashua. You can learn more about the park and events that typically take place throughout the year by visiting this website. You can learn more about the hike, including the exact route, on alltrails.com.
