This Hidden Lagoon In New Hampshire Has Some Of The Bluest Water In The State
Editor’s note: Horseshoe Falls is located on private property and is not accessible to the public at this time
The summer is here and that means more free time to hit the trails and go swimming. You could head to one of the state’s beautiful beaches or lakes, but we like heading just off-the-beaten-path. Take a trip to this beautiful swimming hole in New Hampshire for a full day of fun with friends. It’s hiding in the woods, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find a few friends who are willing to take the trip.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! Horseshoe Falls Swimming Hole can be, like any natural area, dangerous. Always take caution when walking along rocks or the edge as things can get slippery. Whatever you do, don’t drink and jump! Address: Draper Road, Wilton, NH 03086.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
